Here is the recipe of this delightful Grain Free Vegan Buckwheat Bread. You will need the following ingredients and equipment in order to make it happen.

● 2 tbsp. chia seeds

● 200 ml. water

● 140 gr. ground almonds (almond flour)

● 180 gr. buckwheat flour

● 2 – 3 pinches of salt

● 1 tbsp. dill (fresh or dried)

● 2 tbsp. sunflower seeds

● 2 tbsp. pumpkin seeds

● 2 tbsp. flaxseeds

● 2 tsp. baking powder (phosphate-free)

● 2 tbsp. apple cider vinegar


▷ Equipment:


● cup

● tablespoon

● large bowl

● teaspoon

● baking paper

● small loaf pan


Preparation time: 10 – 15 minutes

Baking time & temperature: 25 – 30 minutes at 175ºC / 340ºF



▶︎ Step 2: Prepare the dough


1 – 2 tablespoons of chia seeds into a cup (00:17)

2 – add 7 tablespoons of water and place it to the side (00:23)

3 – mix with a tablespoon (00:33)



4 – 140 gr. of ground almonds into a large bowl (00:38)

5 – add 180 gr. of buckwheat flour (00:43)

6 – add 2 – 3 pinches of salt (00:47)

7 – add 1 tablespoon of dried or fresh dill (00:50)

8 – add 2 tablespoons of sunflower seeds (00:53)

9 – add 2 tablespoons of pumpkin seeds (00:58)

10 – add 2 tablespoons of flaxseeds (01:03)

11 – add 2 teaspoons of baking powder (01:08)

12 – mix all ingredients with a tablespoon (01:15)



13 – add the chia seeds from the beginning (01:30)

14 – add 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar (01:39)

15 – add the rest of the water (01:46)

16 – continue to mix until ready (02:02)


▶︎ Step 3: Prepare for baking


1 – Prepare baking paper and small loaf pan (02:43)

2 – add the dough into the loaf pan (02:56)

3 – spread the dough evenly with your hands and tablespoon (03:18)

Caution: when using a gas oven cut off excess baking paper to avoid fire. (03:44)

1 – baking time: 20 to 30 minutes at 175ºC / 340ºF (03:53)
